Job Description

As a WEB DESIGNER at Metter Advertising, you will be building a career in web and graphic design with an emphasis on search engine marketing. You must demonstrate an ability to produce professional graphics and websites through prior work and be a self-starter. Responsibilities include carrying out the design and development of website and graphic design projects as assigned, maintaining a thorough understanding of and integrating current design trends, web development technologies, languages, tools, and standards into the creative department’s projects. The WEB DESIGNER will work closely with account managers to meet client needs, provide project updates and proofs, ultimately producing finished products that meet client and creative criteria.

Day-to-Day Web Designer Responsibilities May Include:

• Create designs and layout of creative materials including web pages, digital and print advertisements, brochures and other marketing collateral
• Programming and coding of web pages
• Carrying out web update projects
• Preparing photographs and client creative material for projects
• Working with account managers and creative team to take direction and execute ideas
• Keep projects on track within schedules and deadlines
• Interacting with client contacts to gather and/or present project specific information
• Implementing on-page search engine optimization elements

Required Skills:

• Broad knowledge of current web technologies, design tools, and graphics
• Ability to gather content and produce professional, accurate page layouts
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign
• Proficient in CSS and HTML
• Knowledge of Javascript, AJAX, .PHP, .ASP, WordPress / blogging platforms, and database setup is a plus
• Knowledge and/or interest in exposure to search engine marketing, sales, and account management is a plus

Job Description

The ACCOUNT MANAGER, ONLINE MARKETING is responsible for account management and business development with assigned clients. This person will be responsible for management and execution of search engine optimization, PPC, email marketing, online public relations and search marketing initiatives. In addition, this person will manage the production of website and creative projects. This person must maintain a thorough understanding of trends in search marketing and will be instrumental in shaping the strategy and direction of online marketing campaigns for our business to business clients.

Day-to-Day Account Manager, Online Marketing Responsibilities May Include:

• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned clients
• Liason between agency and clients
• Own and manage projects, ultimately being responsible for completion of a project to client satisfaction

• Management and execution of all search marketing and search engine optimization activities for assigned accounts
• Identify search trends and opportunities to improve ROI
